It starts off with a big surprise. You're wondering: What the hell is going on here? But then Ms. Turnbull takes you by the hand, and puts you into a world filled with twists and turns, laughter, heartbreak, joy, and sadness. The characters are real: You'll either love them, or hate them.
Written in "street" vernacular, "He Cut Tha Preliminaries" is a perfect book for the subway, or the beach, or for reading on a lazy Saturday. And like all good books, it is not only entertaining, it teaches a lesson.
I enjoyed it so much. You will,too.
