(More customer reviews)I wasn't sure about these when I got them. Though clearly high quality, the leather is harder than what's usually used for toddlers' shoes, and the sole is less flexible than most other soles. And I wasn't sure about the colors...
The reason I ended up getting them (rather than the adorable See Kai Run mary janes) was simply this: immediately running around the store, clearly happy with the shoes, my 18 month old showed beyond doubt that they were super-comfortable to her - more comfortable than any of the other 5 pairs that we had tried on that day.
They have a good grip on her foot, yet are not to tight (her foot tends to wide in the toe area). And the sole *is* flexible, just a little less than what I came to expect.
She has other high quality shoes of different brands, but these are her absolute favorite. She'd throw a tantrum when I tell her she's not wearing them today!

Super girly and super protective, the Pendant sneaker from Umi has all she needs in supportive footwear.
