He has very wide feet and these shoes fit him just fine. The puppy faces are very cute, and we get many compliments on the shoes from other people. These were actually the first pair of shoes that my son walked in, and they do not impede his walking at all even those he is quite a bit clumsy with and without shoes. The leather soles are tough and thick enough so that we do not have to worry about him getting thorns or splinters in his delicate feet. When the shoes get dirty, I throw them in the washing machine, and they come out looking like new. I am so glad that I bought these shoes; they are like moccasins and are great for toddlers and babies.
