(More customer reviews)I wanted a purse substitute to fly with. You can only take one actual carry on and so I wanted to make the most of my 'purse'. I wanted something that would hold my netbook, my electronics (cell phone, camera, iPod) a couple books and snacks and still be able to fit under the seat ahead of me.(I have a lot of totes, but none had a zipper and I didn't want stuff falling out) Once you put your carry on in the overhead bin- good luck getting to it on a 10 hour flight! Anyway, I think that this will be quite perfect. I couldn't tell what the fabric was like from the photo but I am pleased with it. It is a little shiney and looks pretty water resistant. The pattern is prettier in person- looks more upscale. All in all a great bag for the price and a great purse substitute. Big enough but not too big. The little attatched coin purse is cute too.
