If you go down to manufacturer's description, which in my opinion is not in an obvious place, you see that "One sock is polka dot and the other is striped." The picture doesn't represent that, so I expected matching socks. I really don't think that is too much of an assumption, given that they are "pairs" of socks. They seem great if you intend for your baby to look like you don't sort socks on laundry day.
