(More customer reviews)I like real leather boots and when these showed up I didn't remember why I bought them if they weren't real leather. I set the box aside and thought I would revisit the issue when I had time. When I got an email from Amazon asking to provide feedback for this item, I was able to go right to the item page and saw the incredible PATENT leather pictures that had inspired me to buy these boots. At the time I think they were on sale and I thought the shiny patent leather would wow my daughter, even if they were synthetic. And for the price, that would be enough.
Oh my, what a letdown. They were not PATENT leather. Just these very, very cheap, fakest leather look boots. Buffed, okay, but not in any way patent leather, not even fake patent leather. Don't know how they got the pictures, but the boots I received were not the shiny kind of stiff leather one associates with patent leather. It was more like stretchy, dull black really cheap looking leather. Maybe the cheapest looking boots I have ever seen.
