I was looking for a pair of warm, close toed shoes that i could run to the store or mall in and actually be ABLE to walk around for more than 30 minutes. For me, these shoes were it! I DID put some Dr. Scholl's cushions in, because i knew they would be my walking shoes, and it worked PERFECTLY. Especially at the ball of the foot...that helped make them feel even better. One word of caution...they are VERY high. Not so much in heel height, but in platform height...if you don't like to walk in platforms, or haven't "mastered" it...these aren't the shoes for you. They are HIGH. Other than that, i LOVE these shoes and want to order the brown ones too. I am a true size 8 and that's what i ordered...fit perfectly. The only reason they get a 4 instead of a 5 star review is the little strap that holds the strap that goes through the "buckle" down broke...it doesn't affect the fit of the shoe, but now the end of the little "belt strap" curls up and it just visually bugs me. Other than that, Clogs are "in" and i LOVE these!
