(More customer reviews)This book could almost be coined as Kate White's notes on life, love, career, and style. It's a very easy read and is full of advice based on White's own experience and/or the experiences of friends and coworkers. She is upfront and very insightful in her guidance. The book is split into 4 sections with multiple chapters to dig deeper into particular topics. For example, her section on career give you ideas to update your resume (make it pop!) as well as dealing with rats in the workplace. Love/Sex is almost an extension of her Cosmo articles, giving guidance in relationships, etc. Style is based on tips from her fashion department (for example, have your shoes define an outfit and don't match red shoes with a particular clothing- it's too much!). And finally, the last section covers life, which mirrors her other book "Why Good Girls Don't Ged Ahead But Gutsy Girls Do," but also gives some advice on how to combat stress. I found this book incredibly fun and insightful for any working girl looking for quick tips from someone who may not know it all, but knows quite a lot!
