Whitney also faces the mixed emotions of embracing her long term drug-addicted mother. Eddie - A married man on the down low, struggling with his sexuality and the consequences of coming out of the closet. His decision to reveal his innermost secret results in the loss of his wife to a suicidal death, and greatly strains the relationship he has with his father.
