(More customer reviews)I bought these in black patent for my daughter for Christmas. Only 1, she's already SO into shoes. She loved them. I did, too, until I realized I'd been DUPED. It says "Manmade with leather upper." Usually this means the upper is leather, and the lining and sole aren't. Not in this case. The only thing that appears to be leather (pigskin, to be exact) is the lining on the inside sides. The outside (the "patent") part is definitely PVC. And it wears like PVC - scratches that can't be shined out, peeling edges, and the worst - it frayed a bit at the edges, leaving white threads. Not what I wanted on black "patent" shoes. I would never have paid $39+shipping if I knew they were PVC on the outside. Cute, comfy...but fake.
