The stories are populated by the zombie-men that all single women have met: a Unabomber Wannabe, Mister Crumbs in the Butter, Cannibal Man, and I'm-Putting-You-on-a-Diet-for-Your-Own-Good guy. When Gretchen isn't cowering under her bed without pants on, or wandering around a store carrying condoms and a veggie wrap, she's being followed by imaginary mad snowplow drivers. Ever the butt of the joke, she finds a way to prevail and trudge ever onward to her next misadventure. Awesome read!
