I ordered the paperback version of this book and when I had finished reading it, I had a few good things to say about it. First of all, I liked the characters very much. I thought they were witty and funny but still real in some ways because they all had their flaws. What I enjoyed most was the characters seemed totally relatable. There was a few situations that others might relate to with parents divorcing or dealing with high school and I think that was the author's intent was to create something her readers might relate to. I also felt the romance was well matched for the length of the book. The love between the two main characters didnt feel rushed or cheesy; it felt real and I was falling in love with their love! The story seemed well developed and consistant but what was most refreshing was what the secret was and (no spoilers here!) it wasnt typical like most Young Adult reads. No vampires or werewolves which was nice for a change. (Sorry if you consider that to be a spoiler!) It was also nice that the main character wasn't just only focusing her attention on her love interest like so many other Young Adult novels. The main character had a hobby and she had a sometimes fearless personality which I thought was awesome. She still had problems at home with her family and was still dealing with school on top of dealing with a very attractive boy and this helped the story flow well. I guess what I'm saying is that she actually had a life outside of her attraction for her love interest but there was still a lot of great romance between them. The climax went really smooth too and had just the right amount of action! Overall, this was a really great read and I highly recommend it!
